“Stars, hide your fires; Let not light see my black and deep desires.” ― Macbeth
Once upon a time, there lived a very beautiful princess. The radiance of her loveliness was so magnificent that it sparkled and glowed, enchanting and captivating even the smallest of mites and the hardest of beasts. She was ethereal and care free, spending her days exploring and indulging in her curiosities of the world. One dark gloomy day, she pricked her finger on the poisoned feather of a raven. In that fateful moment, her world was changed forever. The tainted blood from the cursed feather bred in her a grotesque creature, as ugly as she was beautiful. The monster breathed within the deepest part of her, consuming her flesh and mind in frighteningly evil glory. Every once in a while it would suddenly surface without the slightest warning and morph the princess into a revolting monster, a wreck who screamed hell and cursed at everyone around her. Thus the princess spent the rest of her days trying to conquer this inner evil. Deep down she knew no magic would ever rewind the horrible witchcraft. For when she contemplated her reflection, the beast that leered back, was only the other side of her.
I've said this before, I'm far, far from perfection.
