A list of objects that are on my table right now:

A red drinking tumbler masking itself as a mini fire hydrant, all the way from London. A Nixon box where it once housed a super cool navy blue watch from Japan, now contains my latest collection of ear rings. A rainbow wood bead bracelet from my bestfriend when she went to Indonesia last month, a violin rosin in a turquoise case. A pretty slick souvenier keychain featuring the Big Ben and double decker buses from London. A plastic film roll holder with newly stashed coins. A baby blue Mini Diana lomo camera. A black wooden picture frame from Ikea. My silver shiny cotton on clutch. My car keys. A frangipani hair clip from Bali, given to me from my parents this morning. A tall, narrow, curvilinear glass vase with 3 beautiful fiery red artificial flowers. A stash of technical pens and art markers. A milieu of my beloved stationary collection, planners, notebooks, sketchbooks.

(8) The alchemist- Paul Coelho. (9) Digital Fortress - Dan Brown. (10) Girlfriend 44 - Mark Barrowcliffe (all the way from Manchester). (11) Kiki strike - Kirsten Miller. (12) Angels unlimited- Annie Dalton. (13) The First Assistant - Clare Naylor and Mimi Hare. (14) Three cups of tea - Gred Mortenson. (16) A Mini Diana introductory catalog. (17) Whatever you think, think the opposite - Paul Arden. (18) Toxic bachelors - Danielle Steel. (19) The last lecture - Randy Pausch. (20) F in exams - Richard Benson. (21) Oxford French Dictionary. Call me terribly mundane or obsessive compulsive, but there's something about reviewing the contents of my life that have somehow made home and comfort in the nooks and crannies of my bedroom. There's a silent intimacy from physical possession that mirrors a different, private side of you. I just spent the whole afternoon in a domestic cloud. Nothing to calm the mind like a day of decluttering :)
