Fates

Of parallels and life lines; There were strings and they were cut. There were ribbons and they were tied, tight. There were vines and they entwined themselves around trees forever. There were dewdrops, like whispers that flitted away with the sun and heat. There were rocks that never moved, they were like mountains that only grew, that only broke in its own defense. There were the moths hovering on fences. They were the knots made through rose tinted lenses. But mine and yours, they were like fireflies glittering like diamonds and dances.
