Disconnected notions:
She clung to the traces / In hopes that each shard of glass / Would reflect and refract to its point of origin / So that she could feel the adrenaline of being alive
I wonder if I'll spend the rest of my years clinging on to echoes and trails / Even if subconsciously / This is not healthy, I know / But once you dig a hole so deep / Or erect a monument so high / It's hard to escape from its shadow
The sun has the power to burn bright / Blindingly / And erase or flatten / Monstrous mountains / As do Time / Nothing is too much for the power of time and the sun
