The Jezabels

'I think self pity is a state of mind' - The Jezabels

No words, could ever, perfectly describe the ways in which this band has saved my life. Those eternal velvet midnights spent writhing under inky skies, burning with scalding sentiments and lost hopes; were only consoled by the strumming of their guitars, the sensation of their ethereal vocals, the adrenaline of their electrifying drums and keyboards. I've brought them with me through my darkest days, I've allowed their music to devour me whole, and the opportunity to witness a live performance, was just, beyond price.

Imagine a cosy diner, polished cement floor, fairy lights glittering over pine wood bars. A couple of couches, a smattering of dainty stools and large kitchen block tables. Imagine a small crowd, friends and fans, tinkling glasses, muted conversations. Imagine being able to sit while being serenaded by amazing music, enveloped in overwhelming elation and uttermost comfort. Imagine having your musical idols come up to you personally, imagine having them chill two feet away. Imagine your dream showcase and times that by infinity...

To a nebular night of chasing kaleidoscope dreams. Thank you so, so much, S, you're a girlbestfriend to behold ♥
