Gender equality should focus, specifically, in equality, rather than similarity. It is of no doubt that men and women are made differently. Each with their niches, talents, strengths, weakness, advantages and disadvantages. These traits, of course, also vary on individual scales. Radicals in gender equality need to recognize that it is the attainment of equal level of respect, not in fighting secludedly for exact subjects and acts.
Just because, as sample, general consensus depicts strength as of higher importances in a being doesn't make this necessarily valid or true. Just because a woman isn't as strong as a man doesn't mean she is any less better. Just because a man isn't as intuitive or fragile as a woman doesn't make him any less accomplished. Respect towards the various attributes and abilities, and to recognize which matters to the person in question, and why it matters, is the key.
